TYPE ARCADE

Arcade games that teach you to touch type

Keyboard only — no mouse, no aiming. The words are the controls.

Trainer NEW

Adaptive drill — not a game

Times and scores every key you press, works out which ones are actually holding you back, then quietly feeds you more words that use them.

  • Finds your weak keys
  • Letter drills on repeat
  • Real words, or a whole book
  • No score, no timer pressure

Blaster

Multidirectional shooter

Rocks drift in from every edge. Type a word's first letter to lock on, then finish the word before it reaches you.

  • 360° targeting
  • 5 difficulties
  • Endless
Play →

Squadron 1981

Formation shooter

Colorful swarms fly into formation, then peel off to dive at you. Break the boss tractor beam by typing your way free.

  • Wave based
  • Dive attacks
  • Tractor beam
Play →

Sentinel

City defense

Warheads fall on six cities and you are the only defense. Every blast destroys whatever it touches, so fire into the clusters.

  • Chain reactions
  • Splitting warheads
  • Defend, don't dodge

Gopher vs Ants NEW

Marble popper

A column of ants marches on the gopher's burrow. Typing one away closes the column — land three of a color together and they scatter too.

  • Cascades
  • Read, don't rush
  • Painted garden

Squadron 3030 NEW

Formation shooter

Hostiles warp in and hold formation, then break off to dive. Every one carries a call sign — type it before it reaches you.

  • 13 hostiles
  • Capital ships
  • Painted deep space
Play →

Grand Finale! NEW

Single-letter reaction

You are running the fireworks. Shells drift down wearing one letter each — type it and the shell goes off, and the higher it still is the more the crowd loves it.

  • One letter at a time
  • Quick is worth more
  • Keep the crowd
Play →

Coconut Coast NEW

Single-letter dispatch

Coconuts keep dropping. Typing a letter does not clear one — it sends a crab, and the crab has to run out and haul it away. You only have a few, so the choosing is the game.

  • A crew, not a trigger
  • Catch them before they land
  • Painted beach
Play →

Bug Parade NEW

Fixed shooter

Every centipede is a word, one letter per segment. Type the letter on the head and off it pops — the next segment takes the lead, and a mushroom springs up where it went.

  • Mushroom maze
  • Spiders & scorpions
  • Painted garden

Built for practice

Every game here shares the same word sets, so you can drill a specific part of the keyboard and then take it into any of them. Grand Finale is the exception that proves it: made of single letters rather than words, the set stops being a filter and becomes the drill — choose Home row and only the home row falls on you.

Every run tracks WPM, accuracy and your best streak, and keeps a top-ten table per difficulty.

Or skip the drill sets entirely and let the Trainer pick for you — it watches which keys you are slow or inaccurate on and weights what it shows you toward those.
